Promis Electro-Optics presents On-Trak 7000 Auto Aligning Laser System

The On-Trak 7000 is a linear system for laser alignment. A stationary laser, aimed at a reference target up to a maximum of 100 meters, creates a ‘line in space’ that serves as a solid measurement reference. One or more transparent targets are placed directly in the beam path. As the laser light passes through each transparent target, the target is able to determine the X-Y deviation of the laser beam with respect to the center of the tooling sphere. X-Y data gathered from each target is stored on its dedicated CPU, but also wirelessly sent to the Controller Module. The measurement is then gathered to found a laptop or PC.

the basic system consists of

  • laser (with motion control for positioning on the reference target)
  • transparent target
  • reference target
  • controller module
  • CPU (central processing unit, transmitter for transparent target of reference target)
  • application software

Optional are the calibration wedge and reflector plate for quicker measurement.

benefits of the On-Trak 7000 system

  • the laser beam is automatically adjusted by the last reference target. This will continuously bring you the perfect axis.
  • the wireless CPU units communicate the position of the target to the control unit and are equipped with internal battery. This makes the setup easy and fast. In combination with a laptop (and charged batteries) is the system fully autonomous.
  • not affected by modulation of ambient light, but the beam is visible. (red)
