Measure light flicker with the new model GL Optic Spectis 1.0 Touch FL

The new model GL Optic Spectis 1.0 Touch FL is the successor of the Spectis 1.0 Touch. An additional photodiode and modified readout electronics enables the instrument to measure light flicker now.

Light flicker can’t be perceived by the human visual system. Long exposure to flicker is dangerous and can cause:

  • headaches
  • attention distractions
  • eyestrain
  • epileptic seizures

Characteristics GL Optic Spectis 1.0 Touch FL

  • has all the features of GL Spectis Touch 1.0
  • calculation of parameters:
    • flicker index
    • flicker percentage
    • dominant frequencies (max. 5)
  • signal frequency range: 0.1 Hz to 12.5 KHz
  • luminance range: 0.1lx – 15 klx

  • high sampling rate: 125 kHz
  • high speed analogue circuit
  • Flicker Visibility Measure (FVM)
  • Stroboscopic Effect Visibility Measure (SVM)
